Services for Robert Leslie "Les" Whitt will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2008 in Alexandria Riverfront Center with Bro. William Huddleston officiating. Graveside services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday in Greenlawn Cemetery, Natchez, MS under the direction of John Kramer & Son.Friends are asked to call at the Alexandria Riverfront Center from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, and from 9:00 a.m. until time of services on Wednesday. Unknown to the Whitt family, a fund was set up at Red River Bank. The family is very appreciative; however, the Whitt family has not and is not requesting any donations except for those to the Alexandria Zoo in lieu of flowers. The family appreciates all the heartfelt sentiments because Les loved his zoo and loved Alexandria. The Alexandria Zoo will be closed Wednesday, August 20. |
