Tobey: Baby Spider Monkey
On Saturday, February 23, 2008, Zevin, one of the Zoo's spider monkeys, gave birth to a baby boy named Tobey. The baby spider monkey is not currently on exhibit; he is being hand-raised by a zookeeper.

B.B. King & Lanie
On September 12, 2006, Alexandria Zoo's white bengal tigers, Kumar & Hannah, had two tiger cubs. The video show's B.B. King and Lanie during their first month. The two tiger cubs are now on exhibit in their new home at Busch Gardens in Tampa, Florida.
