NEED A MEMORIAL?
We'll "hop" right in and help you by sending an acknowledgement card to the family of that special person.

READY TO ADOPT? IT"S EASY!
1. Simply choose your "wild child" from the list of animals.
2. Complete the "Zooper" Parent application.
3. Send in the application with your payment to

Your contribution to Friends of the Alexandria Zoo (FOTAZ), a non-profit organization, is tax deductable to the extent allowed by law.

AS A "ZOOPER" PARENT YOU WILL RECIEVE:

• A Certificate of Adoption
• A 5" X 7" Photo of your "Wild Child"
• An animal information sheet
• The pleasure and satisfaction of knowing that you are helping your friends at the Alexandria Zoo.

WHEN YOU BECOME A "ZOOPER" PARENT...
Your name will be placed on our "Zooper" Parent recognition sign located at the entrance at the zoo.

IS YOUR FAVORITE ANIMAL TOO EXPENSIVE TO ADOPT?
Enjoy shared parenthood of any animal for only $25. The same program benefits apply.

"BEAR"IN MIND...
Zoo animals are subject to the same frailties as humans. They may become ill or die. Some may be traded or loaned to other zoos for breeding purposes.

Due to weather, animal health and other considerations, some animals may not be on display at all times.

Animals may have more than one "Zooper Parent". Adoptions are for a period of one (1) year.

All adopted animals remain in the care of the Alexandria Zoo and no ownership rights are conferred.
