Donations to Alexandria Zoo's non-profit support organization, Friends of the Alexandria Zoo (FOTAZ), are tax deductible and go directly to the Alexandria Zoo to support the Zoo's animals, projects, programs, and more. No amount is too small.

Your contributions to the "Zooper" Parent Program will help FOTAZ support the Zoo and its animals.
Choose from one of six levels of support and any of the animals at the Alexandria Zoo. Your adoption will last for a period of one year and includes an adoption certificate, a photo of the animal with a fact sheet, bumper sticker, and an invitation to a Beastly Breakfast.

Explorers offer volunteer service to the Zoo through a variety of duties that include zookeeper assistance, special events, grounds maintenance, construction and education programs.
