Checklist For Your Visit

  • Read through the educational opportunities on our website to see the possibilities for your students. Call the Education Department if you have any questions.

  • Schedule your visit with the Zoo office by faxing a completed Group Visit Registration Form to (318) 473-1149. The earlier you prepare and reserve your date, the better. Please remember that the Fall Semester is a great time to visit the Zoo.

  • Schedule your guided tour, Animal House presentation or Zoo School class with the Education Department. Call (318) 441-6818.

  • Make payment arrangements and lunch/snack arrangements.

  • Enlist chaperones (at least one for every 10 students) and provide Zoo rules to chaperones and students.

  • Inform the Zoo office of any special needs.

  • Prepare school name tags.
