The party includes admission for everyone, tables for the party, and a zoo souvenir for the birthday child (when available).

Party Area

The designated party area is the playground and five picnic tables located near the old Zoo entrance, behind Bringhurst Ball Field. This is not a covered area, and the Zoo does not have an indoor area for parties.

Reservations

Reservations are required as the Zoo is a popular place! To reserve a day and time, complete the request form and fax or mail it to the Zoo at least one week prior to the party.

We cannot make your reservation by phone, but you are welcome to call ahead and make sure that we have an opening that suits your needs.

Fees

Hosting Family: Non-FOTAZ
The fee is $3 per person for all individuals attending the party. This includes party guests, parents, siblings, and FOTAZ members of all ages.

Hosting Family: FOTAZ
The fee is $3 per person for all individuals attending the party. Only those covered by the host's membership card may enter free of charge.

Train Rides

Train rides are $1.50 per person for ages one year and older.

Discount rates are available for purchases of 15 or more train tickets. You must purchase these discount train tickets all at once.

Day of Your Party

On the day of your party, please provide the zoo office with a copy of your guest list. The cashier will note the arrival of each guest and you then pay for only those guests that attended your party.

Please pay as you leave the Zoo. If you have a party scheduled at 3 pm, payment must be made by 4:45 pm.

Please Note

• Children must be supervised at all times on the playground equipment and while walking in the Zoo.
• The playground is designed for ages 5-10.
• The Zoo does not provide refreshments for parties.
• No balloons, straws, pinatas, confetti, whistles (or other noise makers), or BBQ pits allowed.
• NO SMOKING anywhere in the Zoo including the playground area.
• Check with the Zoo office on games and activities planned.
